In order to receive this independent seal of quality, extremely high standards are placed on the products - from the ingredients to packaging. At least 95 percent of the ingredients in cosmetics must be of natural & organic origin. These natural ingredients include plant & mineral components. The packaging materials must be made from renewable raw materials.

Peta is actively campaigning for animal rights! Only cosmetic manufacturer which produce vegan cosmetics & which are clearly stating against animal testing getting certified & awarded by the international PETA organisation. The official PETA Cruelty-free & vegan seal of approval guarantees every consumer that neither the company nor its suppliers have ever tested raw materials or products on animals.

Animal welfare is very important to us & we are of the opinion that any animal testing should be prohibited in its entirety. Unfortunately, there are still loopholes in the EU legislation that basically make it possible to sell products with ingredients that have been tested on animals. Therefore, you should only choose products that are certified with the official PETA seal of quality. This provides every customer the security of buying a product that is not tested on animals.
 

FSC® stands for "Forest Stewardship Council®" & is an international certification system for sustainable forest management. The FSC is supported by WWF & NABU. In an FSC certified forest, no more wood is felled than the forest itself can produce. At the same time, the FSC ensures that the flora & fauna in the forest are protected. The FSC certification guarantees the people who work in & with the forest are getting fair working conditions & fair wages.

Charly Baron Cosmetics has therefore set itself the goal of becoming an active part of the solution to reduce plastics in the oceans. We are using plastic-neutral products. Through our partnership with Plastic Bank, we are reducing the environmental impact of marine plastic to a particularly high degree. To compensate for the packaging, we place on the market, it is collected multiple of it & reprocessed into "social plastic".

We do not fight only against the pollution of the oceans; we also meet our ecological & social responsibility. Through our partnership with Plastic Bank, we also help to reduce poverty in developing & emerging countries. A unique recycling ecosystem has been created on the affected coasts, e.g., in Indonesia. People can collect bottles & other plastic containers & exchange them for value rewards such as electricity, money or essential goods at Plastic Bank. The collected plastics are recycled & followed up returned to the global raw material cycle.
